Laubwerk Releases Conifers Kit
Potsdam, December 08, 2014: German digital botany software company Laubwerk today announces their fifth collection of render-ready, realistic 3D trees designed specifically for CG artists and architects. Moreover, Laubwerk has updated the Plants Kits to 1.0.12. The new Plants Kit 5 as well as the updates of Plants Kits 1-4 and of the Plants Kit Freebie are available immediately for 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and Python (Windows).
Plants Kit 5 is an impressive collection of temperate coniferous tree species planted in parks, gardens, or forests including excellent specimen trees for lawns such as eastern white pine, Japanese larch with good autumn color, and popular ornamental and live Christmas trees.

Highlights of the 1.0.12 update are:
- A faster Laubwerk Browser.
- On Cinema 4D, e.g. added Czech localization for both the Plugin Player and all Plants Kits.
- On 3ds Max, e.g. added support for Corona Renderer.

To get the update, sign in to your Laubwerk Account Page download a fresh installer of your Plants Kit. Windows users are advised to uninstall previous versions of the Laubwerk Player plugin before running the new installer.
Laubwerk Plants Kits allow 3D artists and architects to insert photorealistic tree models into their 3D scenes quickly and easily, without the usual slow downs due to overly complicated parameters or excess memory usage.
Laubwerk accomplishes this goal by giving users just the right amount of variation in their 3D tree models, without overwhelming the user or their computer. Each tree model comes in 3 shapes, with 3 ages, and 4 seasons per shape. Adjustable level of detail settings means that each tree looks great without slow navigation or long rendering times.
