Press Release

Get in Shape with Topiary Trees and Laubwerk Updates

Berlin (Germany), April 13, 2021: German digital botany software company Laubwerk announces Plants Kit 16: Temperate Topiary Trees, and updates to the Laubwerk Player Plugin 1.0.38 and the popular SurfaceSPREAD 2.0.5. The Laubwerk Plants Kits are collections of beautiful, render-ready 3D plants explicitly created for architects, CG, and VFX artists.

The new Plants Kit 16 is a collection of ten outstanding sculpted trees. Topiary is the horticultural practice of training plants to develop and maintain clearly defined shapes. Laubwerk's first topiary kit includes a wide range of beautiful plants popular for their clearly defined, almost architectural forms. Imagine royal gardens with the globular, crowned Dwarf Southern Catalpa (Catalpa bignonioides 'Nana'), or running through a Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) Maze with its wide range of different geometric shapes.

Lee Miller, Head of Communications and Senior Artist at Laubwerk, states: "Tim Burton fans will fall in love with Plants Kit 16. Along with the recently updated Laubwerk Player 1.0.38, fantastical creations are now at your fingertips, Scissorhands or Band-Aids not required."

Where To Buy: Purchase your Laubwerk Plants Kit 16, or Kit 1-15, and SurfaceSPREAD directly at the Laubwerk Store or from your favorite authorized Laubwerk reseller.
