Laubwerk Freebie Upgrade: Double Content, Free Kit

Potsdam, August 28, 2014: German digital botany software company Laubwerk today announces a free content upgrade of the Plants Kit Freebie in conjunction with a software update of the Laubwerk Plants Kits, the collection of render-ready, realistic 3D trees designed specifically for CG artists and architects. The new releases are available immediately for 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and Python.

The newest release of the Laubwerk Plants Kit Freebie adds 2 more free plant species to the fully-functional demo version. In addition to the already available two species, the tropical red frangipani tree and the temperate compact field maple, we have added the Turkish pine, a distinctive Mediterranean conifer, and the temperate common broom, a shrub with yellow flowers. Each perfect for ornamental purposes in parks and gardens. Thus, the Freebie is now featuring 4 species in 3 variants, 3 ages and 4 seasons (144 models total).

Release 1.0.11 also introduces, along with the regular set of fixes and improvements for both 3ds Max and Cinema 4D, including support for MAXON Cinema 4D R16. Furthermore, the update adds French localization to the Plants Kits for Cinema 4D – thanks to the the collaboration with the French MAXON Cinema 4D distributor Mediaworks. The update is free for existing customers!

Last but not least Laubwerk would like to invite all Cinema 4D users to visit the new Laubwerk page at ( MAXON has just published a stunning demo scene, and handy tutorial (German only) for free download.
